OPIE 2024
PACIFICO YOKOHAMA
OPIE ’24 will consist of the following seven exhibitions.
①LASER EXPO ②LENS EXPO ③Positioning EXPO
④Space & Astronomical Optics EXPO ⑤Sensor & Imaging EXPO (NEW)
⑥Light Sources & Optical Devices EXPO (NEW) ⑦Optical Communication & Applications EXPO (NEW)
The former “Industrial Camera EXPO” will be integrated into new “Sensor & Imaging EXPO”, adding ‘sensors’ targeting their rapidly expanding market, and “IR+UV EXPO” will be integrated into the “Sensor & Imaging EXPO” or new “Light Sources & Optical Devices EXPO”, as well as “Optical Communication & Applications EXPO” will be newly installed. With this new structure, OPIE’24 will further promote and expand the “optical business” by more effectively utilizing “optical technologies,” which are increasingly expanding their application fields as key technologies for all kinds of cutting-edge technologies.
Concurrently held OPIC, the international conference on opto-related topics (in 2023, it consisted of 15 international conferences and plenary sessions), will be held for its 13th time in 2024. As the only large-scale exhibition in Japan linked to an academic international conference, OPIE is recognized globally, attracting top-level researchers and engineers from universities, research institutes, and companies related to lasers and optics from all over the world.
Optronics, a long-established media specializing in optics and laser, operates OPIE and attracts visitors through its own global network, making OPIE a highly recognized unique meeting point in the photonics industry.
